Set of 4 ferrules and 4 screws for bolting a neck onto a contoured solidbody when a flat neck attachment plate is impractical.
5/8″-diameter counterbored holes required.
The suggested 5/8″ diameter is slightly oversize to allow for finish thickness in the recess. Use a 15mm bit if you plan to fit the ferrule with no finish in the recess.
Screws are 11/64″ (4.2mm) dia. x 1-1/2″ (38mm) long Phillips ovalhead.

The Blackouts Metal humbucker is the reincarnation of our original LiveWire Metal humbucker. With its infamous brain melting output level and headroom, this pickup is so hot that we added a feature that gives you access to a second, moderate, output level. The Blackouts Metal comes from the factory with a slide-on shunt connecting the two pins. Simply remove the shunt and the pickup will be in moderate output mode. You can also run the two pins to a pushpull or mini-toggle switch so you can switch between the two output levels for a built-in boost switch. This pickup is thick and crunchy, and will provide a massively saturated distortion tone with tons of string sensitivity. Our Vintage Staggered for Stratocaster uses hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets and heavy Formvar magnet wire with a special wind pattern to produce that bright, glassy, bell tone with all of the bounce and sparkle youd expect from the best 50s Strat pickups. The treble attack is crisp and immediate, while the low end remains articulate and focused. Chords ring out with clear note to note separation. Use a full set for a truly vintage vibe, or use in the neck & middle with a Custom Staggered in the bridge for a more rocking setup.Since 1978, weve been building all of our vintage Fender style single coil pickups just as it was done in Fenders Golden age. We start with the right color and thickness of Forbon flatwork, with the traditional keyed bottom plate. Then we hand file the flatwork, assemble with hand ground magnets, and lacquer the bobbin. After winding, each pickup is wax potted to reduce unwanted squeal, and comes with waxed and tinned cloth pushback hook-up wires and traditional keyed bottom plate.
