Taken from the original design specs of 1984, Floyd Rose has put together the "1984" tremolo system that recaptures the vibe and excitement from that era. The "1984" system is a true-to-the-original reissue that features brass fine tuners, old style housing and locked in swing arm, bridge mounting wood screws, and a fat solid brass block for incredible tone and sustain. Available in a variety of nut sizes that will fit practically any electric guitar, the tremolo kit contains the bridge, springs & claw, mounting studs, and all hardware necessary for installation.
Relentless. Only for those serious metal players who will accept nothing less than our highest output active bridge pickup.
Description
The Blackouts Metal humbucker is the reincarnation of our original LiveWire Metal humbucker. With its infamous brain melting output level and headroom, this pickup is so hot that we added a feature that gives you access to a second, moderate, output level. The Blackouts Metal comes from the factory with a slide-on shunt connecting the two pins. Simply remove the shunt and the pickup will be in moderate output mode. You can also run the two pins to a pushpull or mini-toggle switch so you can switch between the two output levels for a built-in boost switch. This pickup is thick and crunchy, and will provide a massively saturated distortion tone with tons of string sensitivity. Lock in with the double bass and lay waste to those who stand before youComes with pots, hardware, quick-connector cables, capacitor (active pickups require a special cap value), output jack, battery clip, and wire needed for installation. If your guitar already has active pickups with quick-connector cables installed, you should be able to simply unplug them and plug in your Blackouts.
The Jazz Model neck is a bright humbucker with vintage output that gives you a clear, articulate neck tone.
Description
The Jazz Model neck humbucker uses an alnico 5 bar magnet and a special coil wind for an articulate, glassy treble response that balances very well with its full, but tight low end. The scooped midrange give this pickup a smooth tonal character all its own. Originally designed as the matching neck pickup for the JB Model bridge pickup, the Jazz is an incredibly versatile humbucker that will work for almost any style of music. The Jazz Model works as an excellent neck position counterpart for almost any of our moderate to high-output bridge humbuckers. The Jazz Model has been used by many great players over the decades, from Randy Rhoads to Jeff Beck to Seymour W Duncan. Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the Jazz Model humbucker uses an alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
