The 59 Trembucker bridge model is great for all types of rock and blues. The vintage style coils give it an airy quality that keep this pickup planted firmly in the PAF family, and the alnico 5 bar magnet, and vacuum wax potting have been added to compensate for lighter guitar strings and louder amplifiers than were ever used in the 50s. The result is a pickup with tons of old-school tonal character, but with a brighter top end, and a more compressed sound. Pair with the 59 neck model for an evenly balanced output and tone.Trembuckers have wider pole piece spacing, perfect for symmetrical positioning under the strings of guitars with a tremolo or wide spaced hard tail bridge (2 or wider from the center of the Low E to High E directly over the bridge pickup). Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the 59 Trembucker uses an alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.

The Vintage Staggered RWRP for Stratocaster uses the same hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets and heavy Formvar magnet wire as our standard version, but is made reverse woundreverse polarity, RWRP. When combined with the neck or bridge pickups, it will produce that classic in-between Strat quack, but with none of the traditional single coil hum. On its own, this pickup will give you the same bright, crisp tone that you get from the standard wound model.Combine with an SSL-1 in the neck and bridge for a complete vintage set. Or combine with a higher output bridge model such as a SSL-5 for more bite. Built the same way since 1978, we use the proper color and thickness of Forbon flatwork with all of our vintage Fender style single coil pickups. Along with the period correct magnet stagger, this pickup comes complete with waxed and tinned cloth pushback hook-up wires and traditional keyed bottom plate. We hand file the flatwork, assemble, and lacquer the bobbin just as it was done during Fenders Golden Age.
