It was to have a slightly hotter-than-vintage wind of 12K coupled with an Alnico 5 magnet to capture the perfect balance of output, warmth, and note to note clarity that all shredders dreams of. Years later, the opportunity came for us to make Jasons vision a reality. The Perpetual Burn is made for endless tapping, wide bends, complex chords and intricate single note passages. This Trembucker version is spaced for whammy bridges so down- to- the-springs dive-bombs and screaming pull ups are no problem. And while Jasons signature pickup is the consummate shred machine, its medium output and voicing makes it perfect for other demanding styles from progressive rock to fusion.Hand made in Santa Barbara, CA, the Perpetual Burn comes with 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free operation.

Its extended frequency response and organic feel make this a great humbucker for those who demand both responsiveness and the true tonal character of their guitar to shine through.The original Blackouts bridge humbucker delivers all of the power and full bodied punch that todays metal players demand from an active pickup. You get the high output signal level of an active pickup, with more of an organic feel and open tonal response that allows the character of your guitar to come through. The treble and bass response is extended beyond the range of traditional active pickups, and has been carefully balanced with a slightly scooped midrange for the perfect crunch. This pickup excels at screaming pinched harmonics and hyper-speed riffage with responsive dynamics across the entire fretboard.Comes with pots, hardware, quick-connector cables, capacitor (active pickups require a special cap value), output jack, battery clip, and wire needed for installation. If your guitar already has active pickups with quick-connector cables installed, you should be able to simply unplug them and plug in your Blackouts.

Great for all types of rock, blues, and metal, and works well in any humbucker equipped guitar with medium to warm tone.Pair with the Full Shred neck model for a well matched setup.Trembuckers have wider pole piece spacing, perfect for symmetrical positioning under the strings of guitars with a tremolo or wide spaced hard tail bridge (2 or wider from the center of the Low E to High E directly over the bridge pickup).
