Relentless. Only for those serious metal players who will accept nothing less than our highest output active bridge pickup.
Description
The Blackouts Metal humbucker is the reincarnation of our original LiveWire Metal humbucker. With its infamous brain melting output level and headroom, this pickup is so hot that we added a feature that gives you access to a second, moderate, output level. The Blackouts Metal comes from the factory with a slide-on shunt connecting the two pins. Simply remove the shunt and the pickup will be in moderate output mode. You can also run the two pins to a pushpull or mini-toggle switch so you can switch between the two output levels for a built-in boost switch. This pickup is thick and crunchy, and will provide a massively saturated distortion tone with tons of string sensitivity. Lock in with the double bass and lay waste to those who stand before youComes with pots, hardware, quick-connector cables, capacitor (active pickups require a special cap value), output jack, battery clip, and wire needed for installation. If your guitar already has active pickups with quick-connector cables installed, you should be able to simply unplug them and plug in your Blackouts.
The Perpetual Burn Trembucker lends any tremolo equipped guitar a harmonic intensity worthy of the virtuoso that is Jason Becker.
Description
The saga of Jason Becker and Seymour Duncan spans decades when in the late80s Jason approached us with a new humbucker design. It was to have a slightly hotter-than-vintage wind of 12K coupled with an Alnico 5 magnet to capture the perfect balance of output, warmth, and note to note clarity that all shredders dreams of. Years later, the opportunity came for us to make Jasons vision a reality. The Perpetual Burn is made for endless tapping, wide bends, complex chords and intricate single note passages. This Trembucker version is spaced for whammy bridges so down- to- the-springs dive-bombs and screaming pull ups are no problem. And while Jasons signature pickup is the consummate shred machine, its medium output and voicing makes it perfect for other demanding styles from progressive rock to fusion.Hand made in Santa Barbara, CA, the Perpetual Burn comes with 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free operation.
Taken from the original design specs of 1984, Floyd Rose has put together the "1984" tremolo system that recaptures the vibe and excitement from that era. The "1984" system is a true-to-the-original reissue that features brass fine tuners, old style housing and locked in swing arm, bridge mounting wood screws, and a fat solid brass block for incredible tone and sustain. Available in a variety of nut sizes that will fit practically any electric guitar, the tremolo kit contains the bridge, locking nut, springs & claw, mounting studs, and all hardware necessary for installation.
